Mid-Century Modern is a decor style from about 1945 to 1969 that pairs tapered wooden legs, organic curves and teak with confident color. It is clean but warm, and still looks fresh today.

Contemporary borrows shapes from many eras and changes fast. Mid-century is a specific period look: wood legs, curves and a retro palette.
