Boho vs Coastal: which fits your home

Boho living room: sand walls, rattan, and layered textiles

Boho and Coastal both use natural fiber and light walls. Boho is warmer and busier. Coastal is paler and emptier.

Choose Boho if you want sand walls, rattan, a macrame hanging, several plants, and cushions that do not match. Ochre and sage can sit together. The floor is warm wood, often with two rugs layered.

Choose Coastal if you want pale blue-white walls, a bleached floor, white slipcovers, and one soft sea-blue cushion. Dried grass in a glass vase and a pale wave print are enough. Driftwood is a small detail, not a theme park.

A home that is mostly white with one blue note will fight a macramé gallery. Start from the wall color. Warm sand points to Boho. Blue-white points to Coastal.
